I Love CVS!

Yesterday, I decided to pop into CVS to see if they had any of the Glade reed diffusers in stock. Low and behold the very thing I had been searching everywhere for was sitting on the shelf. I had $7 in ECB on hand and a $3 mq for the Glade. I did some quick math in my head and decided that I could purchase the diffuser, a gallon of milk and 1 box of the Nabisco Nutter Butter cookies with very little out of pocket. Here's what the purchase looked like...

1-Glade reed difuser($6.99-$3mq=$3.99) and receive $6.99 ECB

1-box Nabisco Nutter Butter cookies(on sale for $1)

1-gallon of milk on sale for $2.49 and receive $1 ECB

The total after coupons was $7.48 plus tax

I paid with the $7 ECB and .52 cents cash.

Not bad for milk and cookies. The diffuser was a bonus.

I received a $6.99 ECB and a $1 ECB back. They paid me to take the cookies and milk.

Free School Supplies @ CVS

CVS is having another 3 day sale on school supplies. Here is a list of what is being offered.

Caliber/CVS 100 page Comp Books .99 with .99 ECB Limit 2

CVS Erasers, Push Pins, or Clips .99 with .99 ECB Limit 2

Caliber/CVS Pencil Case .99 with .99 ECB Limit 2

Pilot Easytouch 2pk Pens .99 with .99 ECB Limit 2

Swingline Tot Stapler or Caliber Sticky Note 2pk .99 with .99 ECB Limit 2

Remember that you can pick these items up for very little out of pocket if you use your ECB that you have earned from previous deals. If you need too, split up your transactions and use the ECB that you earn from each previous transaction.
And if you don't need school supplies then think about picking these up and donating to a teacher at a local school. Teachers often pay for needed supplies out of there own pocket. I feel that they are underpaid and like to help them out when I can.

As always, remember to "Pay if Forward."

Test and Reminder About Free School Supplies @ CVS!

Hi everyone!! I'm having a few issues with my blog that I am working on. I will be back to posting soon.

In the meantime there are more great free school supplies, free after ECB at CVS this Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. If they are out of stock make sure to get a raincheck. The rainchecks never expire and will come in handy when the kiddo's supplies are running out.
